Resin Infiltration Treatment for Fluorosis
The infiltration technique has gained its popularity among the recent years as it’s less invasive than the traditional treatment namely microabrasion, veneers, tooth bonding, bleaching or whitening. Some dentists might combine microabrasion and bleaching with this treatment to achieve a better result.

The treatment consists of 3 components:
1. 15% hypochloric acid is applied on the affected area for 2 minutes.
2. Alcohol is then placed over the region.
3. Resin is then infiltrated into the acid treated region to fill the microporosities to reduce surface roughness. It is then light cured.
